Korall has loved children and babies since childhood. She always played with dolls and couldn’t wait to babysit herself. When she turned 14, Korall started weekend au pair work in Leiden. As Korall got older, she became interested in child development, which prompted her to study Pedagogy. From interest to dream: in January 2021, she founded Korall Korall’s Kids Care: the babysitting service working only with pedagogy students.

Korall’s Kids Care is an exclusive babysitting company which consists only of Pedagogy students (HBO+). All nannies that work with us have a VOG and have had a full screening (and an interview of course), we do this to make sure they are fun, sweet and sociable girls who do babysitting with love.

Before the first babysitting day, we will arrange an online interview with Korall Koornstra she will tell you how the company works and together you will go through the needs of your family. Do you want a fixed or flexible nanny? Anything is possible. If everything feels right for both parties, the cooperation can start. You will receive an online contract and get access to the KKC app which is designed exclusively for KKC families and nannies.

For parents

After the intake interview, you will get access to the KKC app and you can very easily request a nanny, and you will be matched as quickly as possible. All nannies working at Korall’s Kids Care have a lot of experience and have gone through an extensive screening to make sure everything is great! When you have been matched you can sort out all the details via whatsapp; maybe you can grab a coffee and get acquainted?

We offer many services like flexible nanny, night nanny, last minute nanny and we can even help out at (children’s) parties!

First aid course for Children & Babies at Korall’s Kids Care

Do you know what to do in case of poisoning or if your little one gets stuck? Don’t worry, Korall Cares! In collaboration with EHBOBUREAU, we offer a first aid course for all parents and caregivers at Korall’s Kids Care.

Korall and her team are fantastic! Since our son was 6 weeks old, they have been babysitting us. Besides being all very sweet girls who study pedagogy (which we really like!), they are all very sweet, polite & patient with our son. They also looked after him several times at night (night babysitting) so that we could refuel, which was really nice! What’s also ideal is that Korall takes charge of all the planning and if we need a babysitter last minute, so far it has always worked out!
